Medtronic requires a Production Planner who will manage material flow and schedules at the El Lago site. You’ll coordinate with QA, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of components and finished goods, using MPS/MRP systems and SAP.

Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential. The role emphasizes planning accuracy, inventory control, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of production planning, MPS/MRP, capacity planning, inventory management, and material requirements planning.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience analyzing demand, inventory, backlog, material availability, production capacity, and customer requirements.
• Ability to identify material or capacity constraints and drive recovery/actions with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules to meet requirements.
• Advises management on status of work in progress and material availability to avoid disruptions.
• Schedules equipment and personnel, prepares work orders based on master schedules and inventory.
• Coordinates with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and logistics to move parts efficiently.
