Sunrise Confections is seeking a Senior Production Planner to lead production planning in a fast-paced food & beverage manufacturing environment. You will balance demand, capacity, and inventory to ensure high service levels while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

You will collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive data-driven decisions that optimize performance and minimize waste.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business).
• 5+ years of experience in production planning within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning, inventory management, and demand planning concepts.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP).
• Proven ability to manage complexity, prioritise, and make decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma is a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and execution of short- and mid-term production plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Optimize capacity planning, sequencing, and resource utilization across production lines.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to ensure material availability.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to respond to demand variability.
• Drive inventory optimization to balance service levels, shelf life, and waste reduction.
• Analyze KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to avoid disruptions.
• Lead or support S&OP / IBP processes across functions.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization, digital tools).
• Mentor and guide junior planners.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Production Planner to lead production planning activities in a fast-paced food & beverage manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in balancing demand, capacity, and inventory to ensure optimal service levels while maintaining efficiency, quality, and food safety standards.

You will act as a key connector across Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams—driving alignment and delivering data-driven decisions that impact business performance.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and execution of short- and mid-term production plans aligned with demand forecasts
• Optimize capacity planning, sequencing, and resource utilization across production lines
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to ensure material availability and smooth operations
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to respond to demand variability and operational constraints
• Drive inventory optimization strategies to balance service levels, shelf life, and waste reduction
• Analyze KPIs (service level, plan adherence, inventory turns, waste) and implement corrective actions
• Identify risks and proactively develop mitigation plans to avoid disruptions

What We're Looking For
