Apex Systems in Mexico is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead a high-performing Agile delivery team focused on enhancing digital products and customer experiences. The role connects business stakeholders with cross-functional teams, translating needs into actionable user stories and ensuring timely delivery.

The ideal candidate brings Product Owner and Business Analyst capabilities, excellent communication, and collaboration across Product Management, UX, Engineering, QA, and business teams

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Agile product delivery roles.
• 4+ years of Product Owner experience supporting Agile software development teams.
• Strong experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience facilitating requirements gathering and collaborative workshops.
• Experience supporting Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, QA engineers, UX teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience tracking delivery progress and managing competing priorities.
• English proficiency level C1 or higher is a requirement.

Aufgaben

• Own and maintain a prioritized backlog of epics, features, and user stories.
• Create, refine, and manage user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize work based on business value, dependencies, risks, and delivery objectives.
• Support release planning and backlog refinement activities.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release readiness activities.
• Help identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Facilitate decision-making and ensure timely resolution of blockers.
• Support overall team accountability and execution.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand business objectives and product needs.
• Ensure requirements are clearly communicated to development and QA teams.
• Help teams ask the right product and business questions to drive successful outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
• Communicate priorities, delivery progress, risks, and key decisions.
• Prepare presentations, status updates, and supporting documentation.
• Drive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Partner closely with Product Management, UX, Engineering, QA, and business teams.
• Support solution design discussions and delivery planning efforts.
• Collaborate with Agile team members to deliver high-quality product enhancements.
• Foster effective communication between business and technical teams.
