This role

The Senior Product Manager on the Consumer Team will play a crucial role in driving the growth and continuous improvement of our credit line and card products. This position involves owning the product strategy, roadmap, and execution to enhance the overall customer experience, expand product capabilities including international expansion, and optimize key performance indicators. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Risk, and Operations teams to identify new opportunities, solve complex challenges, and deliver impactful solutions that directly contribute to the product's success and our customers' financial well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management within financial services, with a particular focus on credit products and consumer lending. Expertise in data-driven decision-making, understanding of credit lifecycle dynamics, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences are paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for our credit line and card offerings, aligning it with company growth objectives and customer needs.
  • Conduct in-depth market and customer research to identify pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities for innovation in the credit and lending space.
  • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering to development, launch, and post-launch iteration for new features and improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Risk, Data Science, and Operations to ensure seamless execution and delivery of product initiatives.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize product and funnel performance using key metrics, A/B testing, and user feedback to enhance conversion, engagement, and the overall customer journey (from application to usage and repayment) and drive strategic business decisions and sustained profitability.
  • Shape strategic vision for the credit line and card product, exploring new features and capabilities to expand our market presence and user base.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience in Fintech, Consumer Lending, or a closely related financial services domain.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify key insights, and translate them into actionable product strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data science, and risk.
  • Deep understanding of the credit lifecycle and factors influencing credit products, particularly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with card issuing or processing platforms, particularly in a modern fintech environment.
  • A strong understanding of consumer lending regulations and compliance specific to credit products.
  • Proficiency in SQL or other data querying languages for self-serving product insights.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
