Job summary

Jabil in Mexico's EMS facility seeks a Product Engineer who understands the full manufacturing chain and acts as a technical leader within the engineering team.

You will implement, support, train, and troubleshoot the assigned process to ensure excellence as judged by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and cross‑functional partners.

Requires advanced degree and 4–6 years of EMS or equivalent experience.

• 4–6 years work-related experience in the EMS or similar industry.
• Advanced diploma, bachelor's, or master's degree required.

Job description

The Product Engineer will be knowledgeable of the basic processes and facilitate other engineers at the site. This individual is also responsible for the implementation, support, training, and troubleshooting for the process being assigned in their facility. This position is assigned to an individual who has the profile to understand the scope of all the manufacturing chain process and the implications of each change and be considered to be a leader within the engineering team. The Product Engineer is responsible for ensuring excellence on the assigned manufacturing process, as determined by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Requires Advanced Diploma, Bachelors, or Masters in appropriate fields; 4 to 6 years work-related experience in the EMS or equivalent industry; Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
