Job Description

As a Senior Product Data Manager for Brakes, you are responsible for managing and optimizing product data to address portfolio gaps and opportunities. You will leverage data governance processes and time-to-market stage-gate processes, as well as growth, maintenance, and life-cycle management of assigned product data. Your activities will include:

  1. Proactively manage product data for brakes components through the entire product lifecycle process.
  2. Analyze product data looking for improvement potential, exploring and identifying new market requirements and opportunities through user experience and market research to build product content.
  3. Manage GAP files, identify new applications and market coverage for Bosch Brakes Components in Mexico, including Private Labels.
  4. Create product application-specific content highlighting major product differentials.
  5. Scrap online platforms collecting customer feedback based on reviews to build databases supporting decision-making.
  6. Implement catalog changes based on ACES & PIES format.
  7. Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Trade Marketing, and the Catalog team.
Qualifications

Experience & Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, related business, or a technical field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in catalog processes, including creation of GAP files, market coverage, and OE and VIO identification.
  • Understanding of ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard) / PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard) and experience with PIM (Product Information Management).
  • Advanced data management skills using Excel, Access, or SQL.
  • Ability to create reports using PowerBI.
  • Practical experience and interest in the automotive market.
  • SAP knowledge (KP1, FAS, others).
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
