Formación

Responsabilidades

  • Servir como enlace primario con propietarios y sus representantes.
  • Liderar la estrategia de compras de apertura de hoteles de lujo.
  • Desarrollar y gestionar cronogramas y presupuestos de compras.

This unit oversees high-end developments, focusing on quality execution, coordination with internal teams, and timely project delivery.

Descripción



  • Serve as the primary liaison with owners and their representatives to present preferred solutions across multiple procurement categories.

    Lead the end-to-end procurement strategy for luxury hotel openings, ensuring alignment with brand standards and delivering exceptional quality.

    Develop and manage procurement timelines and budgets for pre-opening projects, ensuring smooth and on-time hotel launches.

    Collaborate closely with key stakeholders-such as Technical & Design, International Purchasing, Management Control, and Legal teams-to ensure procurement efforts align with overall project objectives.

    Oversee feasibility assessments and generate preliminary cost estimates to support procurement planning.

    Design and implement tracking systems to monitor procurement progress and produce comprehensive reports for senior leadership.

    Provide direction and oversight to third-party procurement agents to ensure consistency and performance.

    Build and manage supplier relationships to guarantee product quality, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery of FF&E and OS&E.

    Coordinate logistics and follow-up on procurement orders through to final site installation, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints.

    Define and monitor performance metrics to assess procurement efficiency and identify areas for continuous improvement.

    Ensure all procurement activities comply with international regulations and company standards.

    Organize planning sessions and technical workshops with stakeholders to support effective project execution.

Perfil buscado

Location: Cancun

Education & Experience



  • Holds a university degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business (with specialization in hospitality or procurement), or a related field. A Master's degree is highly desirable.


  • Brings over five years of hands-on experience managing procurement and project coordination in high-end hotel environments or within global procurement firms serving the hospitality sector.


  • Deep familiarity with the Mexican supplier landscape and local market conditions.


  • Well-versed in FF&E and OS&E procurement, with a solid grasp of luxury hotel operations and design principles.


Core Competencies


  • Excellent at driving complex projects, staying organized under pressure, and ensuring every detail is accounted for.


  • Comfortable working in English (a must); French language skills are a definite bonus.


  • Full fluency in Spanish is essential.


  • Confident navigating technical language in construction and purchasing within hospitality projects.


  • Skilled in using spreadsheets and digital tools to manage budgets, timelines, and reports effectively.


  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage and align cross-functional teams and external partners.
