Formación

Job Description:

Supervises individual contributors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. They direct how to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques to streamline operational processes. Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for Process Engineering area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products and process efficiency. Leads the implementation of new production processes and procedures that aim to streamline the organization’s mass production operations and utilizes knowledge of process engineering to devise modifications that encourage a culture of continuous improvement. Evaluates performance of production stages to determine process engineering faults, equipment failures, and compliance risks, providing insights for the design of optimized production sequences and manufacturing operations. Maintains steady workflow and productivity through implementing quality control processes and resolves operational decisions within the team. Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Position:

We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER to be in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Responsibilities:

1. Identifies, designs, and develops the necessary equipment.
2. Performs material tests.
3. Studies processes to implement improvements.
4. Prepares and manages specifications.
5. Coordinates technicians and engineers regarding unusual problems.
6. Purchases and designs equipment and tools that meet manufacturing, safety, and environmental requirements.
7. Participates in saving and capital projects.
8. Ensures compliance with financial metrics.
9. Evaluates and develops action plans for quality, safety, cost, service, and regulatory compliance requirements.
10. Performs process/product validation activities.
11. Evaluates and provides feedback on performance and development plans for personnel.
12. Communicates business-related issues or opportunities to management.
13. Ensures subordinates follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and resources are available and in good condition.
14. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

• Engineering in any specialty.
• Master of Science and/or Certification is recommended.
• From 4 to 6 years in a similar position, preferably.
• Experience in the medical industry is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry.
• Design of experiments.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and management of statistical procedures.
• Knowledge of computational packages.
• Oral and written communication skills in Spanish.
• Strong understanding of standard costs and work standards for Senior Process Engineers.
