In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Identify and analyze areas of opportunity for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other analytical tools.
- Lead and participate in improvement projects, implementing effective solutions to optimize workflow, reduce variability, and improve quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and correct recurring process problems.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Generate periodic reports on the performance of manufacturing processes, including efficiency, quality, and cost metrics.
- Use statistical tools for data analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards in all manufacturing processes.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- A strong foundation in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for product design and analysis and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
- Skill in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making.
- The ability to build strong relationships with team members, peers, and multi-functional teams.
- An attitude focused on identifying and implementing process improvements.
- A strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
- +3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process engineering role.
- Proficiency in CAD software, statistical analysis tools, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge in reading product drawings.
- Proficiency in English/ Spanish, both written and spoken
