Position

Job Description:

As a member of the Oracle ERP Cloud development team, you will work on delivering new features within the Customer Success Area of Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, serving global customers. Your responsibilities include working on specifications, designing, and implementing changes to existing software architecture, and optimizing code for speed and scalability.

Qualifications

1. BS or MS in Computer, Business, or Industry Engineering
2. Good knowledge of Oracle SQL, PLSQL, and Java/J2EE
3. Experience in web application development with Weblogic, OHS, Apache, etc.
4. Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or Subversion
5. Understanding of Agile software development principles, using tools like JIRA
6. Experience with ERP/financial applications
7. Nice to have: Experience with SOA/BPM suite
8. Strong technical design, programming, and troubleshooting skills
9. Excellent communication skills in English
10. Quick learner of new technologies and products
11. Good teamwork, self-motivation, customer focus, and results orientation
12. Flexibility to work outside regular hours for critical customer issues

Responsibilities

As a software engineer, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications, design and implement modifications to the existing architecture, develop new products and tools, build and execute unit tests, and collaborate with QA and porting teams on major functionality changes.
