Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer to lead multiple design teams through full product development and into production. You will shape product architectures, assess technical requirements, and help quote projects while maintaining design integrity and competitive cost targets.

In this role you will guide platform architectures with senior staff, supervise DOE/CPK/Gage R&R activities, and mentor both local and remote teams while contributing to IP development and technical publications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field).
Minimum of 15 years (Bachelor) or 8 years (Master) of related experience and/or training.
Master’s degree and MBA are advantageous for promotional consideration.
Proven ability to lead design teams from concept through production.

Responsibilities

Meets the requirements of key technology Lead Engineer in respective expertise.
Represents Engineering Services in technical customer discussions and meetings.
Leads development and implementation of platform and product architectures with senior technical staff.
Guides system component requirements, interfaces, and specifications.
Manages product design and documentation at system and product levels.
Drives RFQ responses regarding new technologies, equipment, and test strategies.
