Google’s Government Affairs and Public Policy team in Mexico and Central America seeks a Senior Manager to lead public policy, regulatory advocacy, and government relations across the region. You will own end-to-end policy initiatives on AI, cloud, copyright and digital safety and advise senior leadership on regulatory landscapes.

As a senior individual contributor, you’ll build cross‑sector coalitions, drive proactive campaigns, and negotiate strategic partnerships with government and industry

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 14 years of experience working with or in government, think tanks, public interest groups, industry groups, or corporate public policy organizations.
• Experience with the Mexican political system, legislative processes, regulatory landscape, and government decision-makers.
• Experience in technology policy issues.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead public policy, regulatory advocacy and government relations in Mexico and Central America.
• Oversee end-to-end policy domains including AI, cloud, copyright and digital safety.
• Advise senior leadership on emerging political and regulatory landscapes.
• Build cross-sector coalitions and execute proactive policy campaigns.
