We are currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (REMOTE) to join our team in Mexico City, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

A Senior Platform Engineer is primarily a software developer specializing in processes and resources that enable the development, build, test, deploy, and release of enterprise applications, ensuring frequent, error-free, and high-availability releases. Our product includes a dynamic virtual platform with an automated software factory, logistics, utilities, a digital showroom, and consumer feedback loops, serving the entire IT organization, including ourselves.

Once You Are Here, You Will:

• Be immersed in custom accelerators like Infrastructure as Code, Pipeline, and Policy as Code
• Develop event-driven functions, APIs, backend services, and self-service portals
• Implement comprehensive testing frameworks for your work
• Contribute to deploying platforms that enable rapid application development for global clients

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years coding in Python, Typescript, or Golang
• 1+ years scripting in bash or PowerShell
• 4+ years networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing)
• 4+ years systems administration (Linux or Windows)
• 1+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Core Competencies for DevOps Role:

1. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), scripting for deployment
2. Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), management of AKS and ACR
3. Azure services expertise, including ACR, PostgreSQL, and App Config
4. CI/CD automation with Azure Pipelines
5. Application onboarding and automation of database deployments
6. Monitoring, reporting, and self-service solutions development
7. Cloud technology leadership in GCP, Azure, or AWS
8. Release engineering and enterprise program leadership
