We are currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (REMOTE) to join our team in Mexico City, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

How You’ll Help Us:

A Senior Platform Engineer is primarily a software developer specializing in processes and resources that enable the development, build, test, deploy, and release of enterprise applications, ensuring frequent, reliable updates with minimal errors and maximum uptime. Our product includes a dynamic virtual platform, automated software factory, logistics, utilities, digital showroom, and consumer feedback loops, serving the entire IT organization including ourselves.

Once You Are Here, You Will:

• Gain experience with custom accelerators including:
• Infrastructure, Pipeline, and Policy as Code, with continuous testing and delivery
• Development of event-driven functions, APIs, backend services, Command Language Interfaces, and Self-Service Developer Portals
• Work with comprehensive testing frameworks covering unit, security, governance, and functionality
• Be among the first to deploy and customize the delivery platform that enables rapid application development for global Fortune 500 companies

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years coding in Python, Typescript, or Golang
• 1+ years scripting experience in Bash or PowerShell
• 4+ years of networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing)
• 4+ years of systems administration experience with Linux or Windows
• 1+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

DevOps Role Responsibilities & Core Competencies:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in Terraform for managing infrastructure, scripting for deployment and configuration
• Containerization and Orchestration: Managing Kubernetes clusters, familiarity with AKS, ACR, and Azure services
• CI/CD Automation: Automating workflows with Azure Pipelines, ensuring secure and efficient deployments
• Application Onboarding & Database Automation: Designing onboarding processes, automating database deployments, and real-time monitoring
• Self-Service & Cloud Technology: Building solutions for team empowerment, leading application onboarding in cloud environments
• Release Engineering: Overseeing release activities for smooth code delivery
