Job summary

EX Squared LATAM is seeking a Cybersecurity Penetration Manager in Mexico to lead advanced, hands-on testing across applications, networks, and cloud environments. This individual contributor role emphasizes deep technical work and clear business-focused communication.

Hybrid work in Mexico City or Guadalajara is preferred, with remote options for other Mexican cities. English fluency and 5+ years of experience are required for direct client engagements and remediation planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Penetration Testing experience as a primary/core professional responsibility.
• Experience with API penetration testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed penetration testing across web apps, APIs, networks, cloud environments.
• Plan and execute testing across cloud-hosted environments and supporting infrastructure.
• Validate vulnerabilities with evidence and remediation guidance.
• Document findings with business impact and remediation recommendations.
• Support remediation through technical discussions and retesting with teams.
• Communicate results to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Apply established security assessment methodologies such as MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, PTES.
• Use scripting and automation to improve testing efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging vulnerabilities and tools.
• Work independently on technically complex assessments.
