A leading delivery and logistics company is seeking a Payroll Manager in Mexico to oversee payroll operations and ensure compliance with local laws. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in payroll management in Mexico, be fluent in English and Spanish, and possess deep knowledge of payroll governance. This role offers a hybrid work model and the chance to contribute to a rapidly growing business.
Our Payroll team plays a critical role in ensuring employees in Mexico and Brazil are paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with all local labor and tax regulations. As a core pillar of our People Operations function, our mission is to enable employee confidence and operational integrity through efficient payroll execution, risk mitigation, and strict adherence to regulatory frameworks. We aim to build processes aligned to daily operational needs and support continued expansion into new LATAM markets. Key initiatives currently include optimizing payroll infrastructure in Mexico and Brazil, attention to audits, implementing automation, and developing consistent standards for future country launches.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations and payroll taxes in Mexico and Brazil, in coordination with the payroll team and external providers ensuring strict compliance with local legislation and internal policies. You will implement and enhance procedures to ensure compliant and accurate payrolls, leading mitigation and prevention plans. support audits and compliance reviews, and proactively implement operational efficiencies that strengthen our payroll infrastructure across the region.

You will report to the Payroll Manger of LATAM on our Payroll Team in our company DoorDash Technologies Mexico. Ideally, we are seeking someone who is able to work a hybrid model from our Mexico City office in Coyoacan, going in-office three days a week. We are flexible to consider someone working remote within Mexico, with occasional travel for team events / offsites, and employee onboarding.
