nVent is seeking a seasoned Paint Engineer to support painting, drying ovens, and curing ovens in our high-volume manufacturing environment. You will help ensure equipment uptime, quality, and on-time delivery while collaborating with operators and engineers.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and bilingual English/Spanish, and at least 5 years of supervisory experience in paint processes or related fields.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or industrial preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• 5+ years’ experience as a supervisor or Senior Paint Engineer or related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Support painting and chemical baths processes to ensure equipment uptime, meet production goals and maintain high product quality.
• Prepare and maintain documentation (Standard Work, and Work Instructions) for new and existing equipment.
• Identify opportunities and lead projects to improve productivity, reduce costs, improve quality and achieve on-time delivery to meet production needs.
• Lead new equipment financialJustifications, installations, process modifications and improvements.
• Coordinate with operators, team leaders, value stream managers, and planners to optimize process center layouts and designs.
