Eaton is seeking a Sr Opex Engineer to lead complex Operational Excellence and data analytics initiatives. You will define improvements, coordinate cross-functional implementation, and mentor teams to achieve sustainable results.

The role requires advanced Lean Six Sigma expertise, strong Power BI and Snowflake skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions. Collaboration and leadership behaviors are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Operational Excellence and process improvement initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation, validation, and sustainment.
• Own design, governance, accuracy, security, and continuous improvement of EatonCare H5 metrics, dashboards, dataflows, datamarts, and analytical solutions.
• Translate strategic and operational needs into scalable digital, analytical, and process improvement solutions for leadership decision-making.
• Establish and standardize OPEX methodologies, reporting, and governance across EatonCare functions.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving using Lean, Six Sigma, data analysis, root-cause analysis, and structured project management.
• Define project objectives, success measures, plans, risks, and responsibilities for sustainable results.
• Coach and mentor OPEX Engineers, Analysts, interns, and partners in process improvement, data analytics, and Power Platform tools.
• Facilitate Gemba Walks, Kaizen events, process reviews, and leadership discussions to create prioritized improvement plans.
• Serve as OPEX SME for assigned processes and escalation point for analytics, reporting, automation challenges.
• Promote Eaton’s culture and model accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and safety.
