Formación

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of Mexican labour law and working across jurisdictions.
  • Experience working in diverse, multicultural and multilingual environments.

Responsabilidades

  • Maintain organised digital and physical records and documentation.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes and manage onboarding.
  • Monitor mandatory documentation and training for HR compliance.
  • Assist expatriate staff with tax, consular and relocation requirements.
  • Execute monthly payroll and liaise with finance and HRIS.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with strategy.
  • Promote safeguarding and equality principles across HR practices.

Join IPPF in Mexico City – Senior Office Administration & HR Officer

Help build a workplace that’s efficient, inclusive and driven by purpose. IPPF is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Office Administration and Human Resources Officer to support the smooth running of our Regional Office in Mexico City.

This role is key to ensuring our operations are compliant, people-centred and aligned with our feminist values and safeguarding standards. You’ll work closely with the global People, Organisation and Culture team to deliver high-quality HR and administrative services that reflect our commitment to equity, dignity and justice.

What you’ll do
  • Office management: Maintain organised digital and physical records, HRIS platforms, manuals and documentation. Guide staff on internal protocols and ensure suppliers meet operational standards.
  • Recruitment & onboarding: Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, prepare contracts, set up new employees, deliver inductions and manage offboarding.
  • HR compliance: Monitor mandatory documentation and training, maintain accurate records and advise senior management on required actions.
  • Mobility support: Assist expatriate staff and their dependants with tax, consular and relocation requirements.
  • Payroll & finance: Execute monthly payroll accurately and on time. Liaise with Finance, HRIS and external partners to ensure data integrity.
  • HR projects: Support the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with our People, Organisation and Culture strategy.
  • Safeguarding & values: Promote safeguarding, anti-racism, DEI and feminist principles across all HR practices.
What you’ll bring
  • Degree in Business Administration (HR), Labour Psychology or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of Mexican labour law and experience working across jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to manage HRIS and payroll with precision.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
  • Native Spanish and conversational English (B1–B2).
  • Experience working in diverse, multicultural and multilingual environments.
Nice to have
  • Experience in the international development or charity sector.
  • Familiarity with Personio and NetSuite.
  • Experience with outsourced or multi-location payroll.
  • HR policy research and benchmarking skills.
  • NGO experience.
