Bluelight is a leading software consultancy seeking a senior backend engineer to join our growing team. You will design and build low-latency API services on AWS, implement secure, multi-tenant architectures, integrate with various services via SDKs, and collaborate with frontend and AI-assisted development tools to deliver high-quality applications for demanding clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript, strong PostgreSQL SQL and migration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience focusing on backend.
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services on AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations, PostgreSQL/RLS, and multi-tenant environments.
• Experience with writing SQL, schema migrations, and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Develop secure, multi-tenant architectures on AWS.
• Collaborate with frontend and AI-assisted tooling teams.
