Bluelight is a leading software consultancy seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and implement scalable, secure services. You will work on low-latency API layers, integrate with AWS, and contribute to multi-tenant architectures while collaborating with front-end teams as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency RESTful APIs and AWS-based services.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience with secure multi-tenant environments.
• Ability to write raw SQL and manage schema migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Familiar with React for occasional frontend tasks.
