Job summary

EQUALS TRUE, a remote-first, inclusive talent partner, is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to lead motion across social, video, and digital campaigns for LATAM and global brands.

You will own the production process, collaborate with designers and developers, and push creative boundaries with 5+ years of experience, advanced After Effects skills, and a strong storytelling sensibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Motion Design with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced After Effects and 2D/3D animation skills.
• Ability to translate concepts into high-quality motion across formats.
• Strong storytelling, typography, pacing, and composition understanding.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume production and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; familiarity with AI-assisted workflows a plus.

The Work (What you’ll be doing & Your Impact)

• Lead motion execution across high-volume campaigns and digital experiences, bringing creative concepts to life across social, broadcast, display ads, OOH, and web.
• Translate creative direction, visual designs, and Figma libraries into polished motion graphics and interactive experiences that strengthen storytelling, usability, and emotional impact.
• Develop motion concepts and explore creative approaches that balance visual expression, rhythm, clarity, and the overall goals of each project.
• Create and adapt 2D and 3D animations across formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and platform specifications while maintaining visual consistency and quality.
• Own the motion production process from concept and animation through revisions, approvals, and final delivery, managing complex deliverables with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, strategists, producers, and other Motion Designers to align creative direction, communicate motion decisions, and keep projects moving.
• Contribute to shared motion systems, reusable patterns, and team best practices while exploring AI tools to improve creative workflows where relevant.

Needed Expertise (What you need to succeed in the role)

• 5+ years of experience in Motion Design, with a portfolio showcasing strong creative execution across social-first content, digital campaigns, and other formats.
• Advanced After Effects skills and experience with motion and interactive design tools, including the ability to create nuanced 2D and 3D animations.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, typography, pacing, transitions, compositing, and how motion can support creative direction and user experience.
• Experience translating creative concepts and established visual systems into consistent, high-quality motion across multiple formats, including social, broadcast, display ads, OOH, and web.
• Strong production skills, including knowledge of platform specifications, video durations, aspect ratios, resolutions, and export requirements.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex deliverables, high-volume production, multiple versions, feedback, and tight deadlines while maintaining quality and organization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present creative rationale, give and receive feedback, share knowledge, and contribute to team standards. Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows is a plus.
