Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in automotive mechanical design.
• Proven expertise in CAD and CAE tools.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive component design and manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of automotive mechanical systems and components, from concept to production.
• Conduct detailed analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis, using simulation tools.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, manufacturing, and product management.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for components and systems to validate design integrity and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues during design, prototyping, or production phases.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and presentations.
• Stay abreast of latest automotive technology and engineering practices.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering ongoing learning and improvement.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
