Placements24 is seeking an experienced Ingeniero de Diseño Mecánico in Saltillo, Coahuila to design, simulate, and test advanced cooling systems for heavy industrial applications. You will develop heat exchangers, fans, and pumps, creating CAD models and BOMs while collaborating with manufacturing to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires strong background in thermodynamics, CFD/FEA, and thermal-fluid design with a focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical design with emphasis on thermal systems or fluid dynamics.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL) for thermal and fluid analysis.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization and detailed design of mechanical components for industrial cooling solutions.
• Perform thermal analysis, CFD, and structural analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
• Develop and optimize heat exchanger designs, fan systems, and pumping mechanisms.
• Create CAD models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure feasible, cost-effective production.
• Conduct prototype testing and validation; modify designs as needed.
• Provide technical support to sales and service teams about product capabilities.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
