Eaton is seeking a Sr Import-Export Analyst in Mexico. The role focuses on Maquila program management, ensuring compliance with HTS classifications and tax rules, and monitoring import/export activity to minimize risks.

You will maintain regulatory documentation, perform audits, and generate KPI reports while driving continuous process improvements across trade operations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Formación

• Degree in foreign trade or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in a foreign trade leadership role.
• Senior expertise in import-export operations.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP system a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (audit formulas).
• Knowledge of USMCA, C-TPAT, and related programs.
• Experience with customs procedures and compliance.
• Knowledge of US Customs regulations.

Responsabilidades

• A. Manage Maquila inventory for Eaton and Eaton Cummins.
• B. Prepare KPIs and monthly reports for governance.
• C. Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations.
• D. Ensure data integrity of trade compliance processes.
• E. Maintain compliance with Mexican and US regulations.
• F. Monitor import/export of materials monthly.
• G. Audit Annex 24 components and ERP data accuracy.
• H. Reconcile Annex 24 with ERP and handle discrepancies.
• I. Provide documents for SAT and internal audits.
• J. Lead issue analysis with accurate logical reasoning.
• K. Manage execution by delegating and resourcing.
• L. Drive continuous process improvement and project execution.
• M. Ensure customs duties avoidance where applicable.
• N. Ensure compliance with Mexican customs and laws.
• O. Inspect at origin; manage inputs and differences.
• P. Support IMMEX and PROSEC reporting.
• Q. Prepare VAT related reports and certifications.
• R. Produce periodic GTM Mexico monthly reports.
• S. Maintain safety culture and risk controls.
