Eaton is seeking a Customs Lead in Tijuana to oversee import/export operations, ensuring compliance with Mexican and international trade laws, and to lead a high-performing team across regulatory programs. This role requires strong leadership and direct experience in trade compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Commerce, Customs, Trade Compliance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree in related discipline is considered a plus
• 5–7 years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs, Import/Export Operations, or related areas
• Proven experience ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IMMEX Program Administration and Mexican customs regulations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with significant decision-making responsibility within a highly matrixed global organization
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required

Responsabilidades

• Oversee import and export operations to ensure full compliance with customs regulations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing trade team and manage key reporting activities.
• Coordinate with COE and local teams on classification, FTA's and VAT certification compliance.
• Ensure procedures align with Eaton standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with Mexican and international customs regulations and policy changes.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to internal areas as necessary.
