Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Engineer to lead MES implementation, integrate smart torque tools, and advance automated inspection and traceability across manufacturing operations.

Collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production, IT, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, you will enhance process capability and efficiency, drive data-driven decisions, and guide quality improvements for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or related field.
• Experience implementing and supporting MES in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing automation, smart torque systems, industrial traceability, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead MES implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement across operations.
• Develop and deploy manufacturing quality technologies including smart torque systems and automated inspection equipment.
• Collaborate across functions to improve quality, process capability, and efficiency.
• Develop and standardize manufacturing quality processes, work instructions, control plans, and best practices.
• Monitor processes and quality performance using data-driven methods.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product launches by validating processes and readiness.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce defects and improve productivity.
• Report key quality metrics such as CP, first-pass yield, defect rates, and equipment performance.
• Provide technical leadership and training on MES and quality systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers and integrators for sustainable tech deployment.
