Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Tijuana to lead the transfer and integration of manufacturing processes while driving continuous improvement across operations.

You will partner with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure scalable, compliant processes that meet business needs. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing environments, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with IQ/OQ/PQ validation alongside

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 3–5+ years in manufacturing engineering, process development or CI in regulated environments.
• Experience leading validation of end-to-end manufacturing processes.
• IQ/OQ/PQ familiarity is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer and integration of manufacturing processes with validation and operational readiness.
• Drive CI initiatives to boost productivity, first-pass yield, and reduce scrap.
• Design and implement tools, fixtures, inspection equipment, and process improvements.
• Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Plan capacity strategies including equipment, labor, and space utilization.
• Lead or contribute to IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate across suppliers, operations, quality, and engineering teams on projects.
