Position Summary

Develop and maintain standards for production operations, ensure process compliance, suggest improvements for efficiency, and determine requirements based on demand.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Develop and apply composite materials and manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements, including BOM creation, KPC management, and tooling design.
  2. Collaborate with operations to meet technical requirements within schedule and budget; support cross-functional meetings.
  3. Manage engineering change processes, including change definition, qualification, and approval; investigate defects and root causes.
  4. Define production readiness criteria and qualify processes and tooling for transition to production, ensuring compliance with quality systems.
  5. Identify and implement process improvements, assessing costs and benefits, and communicate changes effectively.
  6. Provide project updates and technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Mentor engineering staff and support organizational process improvements.
  8. Assist in new business development, including proposal preparation and quotation revisions.
Position Requirements

Education: BS in Engineering, preferred in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 7 years in manufacturing/process engineering; 10+ years preferred, especially in Aerospace Composites. Knowledge of raw materials, manufacturing methods, quality control, and product development processes is essential.

Languages: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
