Position Summary

Develop and maintain standards for production operations, ensure process compliance, suggest improvements for efficiency, and determine production requirements based on demand.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Develop and apply composite materials and manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements, maintaining full documentation and BOMs. Manage Key Product Characteristics (KPCs) and ensure their compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Design, qualify, and implement tools and fixtures for textile, preform, or composite part production.
  2. Collaborate with operations to meet technical customer requirements within schedule and budget; allocate resources as needed and support engineering and cross-functional team activities.
  3. Maintain configuration control for engineering changes, including qualification, approval, and root cause analysis of defects or failures.
  4. Define criteria for production readiness, qualify processes and tooling, and ensure compliance with quality systems.
  5. Identify and implement process improvements, assessing costs and benefits, and communicate changes effectively.
  6. Provide project updates and technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Mentor engineering staff and support organizational process improvements.
  8. Assist in new business development through proposal preparation and project scope management.
Position Requirements

Education: BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred).

Experience: Minimum 7 years in manufacturing/process engineering; 10+ years preferred, especially in Aerospace Composite. Knowledge of raw materials, manufacturing methods, quality control, costing, and production processes. Proven experience with product development, engineering change management, and quality systems.

Languages: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
