What do you get to do in this position?

1. Lead and coordinate process improvement projects, benchmarking, and support manufacturing operations.
2. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and support capital budgeting and equipment acquisition processes.
3. Conduct capacity and constraint analyses, review work instructions, and verify BOM and drawings.
4. Support engineering change notices and provide technical support in operations.
5. Mentor engineers, lead cost studies, and advise on design for manufacturing.
6. Develop time standards, promote process standardization, and emphasize discipline in manufacturing.

This job might be for you if:

• You have a BSME or BSIE with 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience (MBA preferred).
• Lean Champion or 6-Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
• You have experience with bidding, supplier selection, resistance welding, wire cutting/stamping, and mechanical assembly processes.
• You can design tooling, develop processes, and assess manufacturing technologies.
• You are experienced in interfacing with product development, operations, quality, and finance.
• You are adaptable, hardworking, data-driven, and possess excellent communication skills.
• You have experience in low volume, high mix environments.
