- Oversee coordination of Development, Value Engineering, Producibility, and Sustaining Engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with program and customer needs.
- Develop and implement a cost-effective sourcing strategy that aligns with both budget constraints and long-term business goals.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting structures to track progress and ensure accountability.
- Ensure the consistent use of standard analysis methods or define and apply mitigation approaches when deviations are necessary.
- Provide technical guidance and direction, working closely with subject matter experts and cross-disciplinary peers.
- Apply in-depth knowledge in structural analysis, particularly within nacelle systems and thrust reversers.
- Champion process improvements to support broader business objectives.
- Ensure all technical deliverables are accounted for while driving continuous improvement in core metrics.
- Evaluate individual performance in the context of strategic business goals.
- Present updates, strategies, and outcomes effectively to senior leadership
- Skilled in Conversational and technical English
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 7 years’ experience leading teams
- Background in structural or stress engineering analysis
- Proven track record in managing or guiding engineering teams
- Skilled in working closely with internal and external stakeholders or clients
- Knowledge of aircraft structural systems, components, and assemblies
- Strong grasp of load transfer principles and balancing; hands-on experience with classical analysis techniques
- Lean oriented with exposure to and application of process improvement methodologies
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ability to represent the company in technical review meetings and have excellent customer relations
- Proven successful leadership in creating and maintaining a team-oriented work environment.
