Job summary

Walmart de México y Centroamérica seeks a strategic finance leader to own the end-to-end sales reconciliation and accounting integrity across centralized and non-centralized stores. You will drive governance, performance metrics, and cross-functional collaboration with Controllership, Cash & Treasury, and Product teams to protect the integrity of Store Close.

The role requires 8+ years in R2R, strong English, and experience guiding complex reconciliation programs in large retail environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Eight+ years in Record to Report, Retail Accounting, reconciliations, Shared Services, or Finance Transformation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and resolving complex accounting issues.
• Advanced English proficiency and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategy for sales reconciliation and accounting integrity across centralized and non-centralized stores.
• Own end-to-end visibility of sales interface integrity, reconciliation status, and financial exceptions prior to Journal Entry Close.
• Partner with retail accounting, controllership, and tech to resolve upstream defects affecting Store Close or reconciliation.
• Establish governance, service expectations, escalation paths, and performance measures for reconciliation activities.
