This in-office position requires occasional international travel.

Formación

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations across all shifts within a large manufacturing facility or multiple facilities. This role ensures operational efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in performance, quality, and cost control.

Responsibilities

  • Lead staffing, talent development, and performance management initiatives for the operations team, including the supervision and development of the management staff.
  • Oversee all operational activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, production schedules, and performance standards while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, implementing effective safety, cost, and quality control measures.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and foster a safe, secure, and efficient manufacturing environment.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English.

Skills

Quality Management:

  • Analyze and interpret data using statistical tools; communicate findings effectively.
  • Advocate for quality management principles and lead quality review processes.
  • Apply industry standards such as Six Sigma, ISO 9000, or Baldrige to develop quality assurance programs.
  • Motivate teams to achieve and exceed quality objectives.

Planning And Organizing

  • Communicate potential changes to stakeholders and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Define critical goals and tasks to meet operational objectives.
  • Develop contingency plans and process improvements proactively.

Performance Management

  • Identify development opportunities through training, assignments, and mentoring.

Manufacturing Operations

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Assess operational risks and safety hazards.
  • Benchmark industry standards and apply best practices.
  • Supervise daily operations to meet production targets and forecasts.
  • Utilize tools for demand forecasting and capacity planning.

Manufacturing Safety

  • Advise on new safety tools and techniques.
  • Conduct safety inspections in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Design and implement emergency response procedures.
  • Promote safety awareness and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
  • Identify and address emerging safety risks.

Production Scheduling And Control

  • Follow established procedures for job setup and completion.
  • Analyze demand patterns and apply demand management strategies.
  • Coordinate production documentation and approvals.
  • Confirm production requirements and assist in job setup.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using established guidelines.

Additional Information

  • Location: Reynosa, Tamaulipas
  • This position is five-day a week in-office model.
  • This position will require travelling 10% working time (International).
  • Valid Travel Visa and Passport
