About The Role

Our Sr. Manager, Operations Value Stream is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire value stream—from raw materials to finished product—within an operations or manufacturing setting. Their goal is to maximize value delivery to the customer while minimizing waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Value Stream Leadership.
  • Own the full value stream for one or more product lines or services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize flow, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Align value stream goals with overall business objectives.
  • Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, VSM).
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Identify bottlenecks and process inefficiencies using data-driven analysis.
  • Team Leadership & Development.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including production, quality, engineering, and supply chain personnel.
  • Develop talent within the value stream, coaching managers and team leaders.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and employee engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting.
  • Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., cycle time, OEE, inventory turns, customer lead time).
  • Regularly report value stream performance to senior leadership.
  • Use metrics to identify areas for improvement and track results.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration.
  • Ensure customer requirements are understood and met throughout the value stream.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and customers to address issues and improve service.
  • Act as a liaison between operational teams and other business units.
  • Supply Chain & Resource Management.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain to ensure material availability.
  • Optimize inventory levels and material flow.
  • Plan capacity and resource allocation based on demand forecasts.
  • Compliance & Risk Management.
  • Ensure all processes meet regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Advanced conversational English level.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of managerial experience leading cross functional teams including production, quality, manufacturing, product engineering, industrial engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a Make-to-Order (MTO) environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement (CI) functions, developing strategic initiatives for KPIs compliance & culture development.
  • Knowledge of HVAC processes and systems (preferred).
