Delinea is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – macOS to architect, develop, and deliver a secure, scalable macOS agent. You will enhance an existing agent that integrates with our Privilege Manager Server to enable application control and enforce least privilege via policy-based access management.

You will analyze customer-reported issues, drive root-cause resolution, and craft new capabilities to strengthen Delinea's Zero Trust ecosystem through high-quality engineering and innovation.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with focus on macOS internals.
• Strong proficiency in Swift for macOS development, including Swift Concurrency.
• Working knowledge of Objective-C (reading, understanding, and migrating legacy code).
• Deep expertise in macOS frameworks such as System Extensions, Endpoint Security, Service Management, Daemons/agents, XPC, GCD, SwiftUI, AppKit, Accessibility.
• Security-first mindset with solid understanding of Apple's security and privacy model.
• Proficiency with Xcode and Apple's development toolchain.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architecture principles (DI, MVVM).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment builds.
• Excellent collaboration skills with Product and UX/UI teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design & Maintain the Privilege Manager macOS Agent with deep understanding of underlying technology.
• Develop Remote Management Solutions for macOS workstations connecting to Privilege Manager Servers.
• Deliver Feature Enhancements and customer fixes as part of the Privilege Manager product team
• Contribute to Architecture & Design decisions, driving key technical and product initiatives
• Maintain High Quality Standards through code reviews, security practices, and process improvements
• Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues to ensure reliability and availability, collaborating with support
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Product, UX, and Development teams using Scrum
• Optimize Performance for scalability, efficiency, and user experience
• Improve Development Processes including code quality, E2E testing, security scanning, monitoring, and incident response

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – macOS to architect, develop, and deliver a secure, scalable, and intelligent macOS agent. You will enhance and support an existing macOS agent that integrates with our Privilege Manager Server to deliver application control and enforce least privilege through policy-based access management.

You will conduct in-depth analysis of customer-reported issues, drive root-cause resolution, and architect new capabilities. This role is critical to strengthening Delinea's Zero Trust and application control ecosystem through high-quality engineering and innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design & Maintain the Privilege Manager macOS Agent with deep understanding of underlying technology, enabling you to troubleshoot issues, evaluate changes, and make informed technical decisions
• Develop Remote Management Solutions for macOS workstations connecting to on-premises and cloud-hosted Privilege Manager Servers, including agent-to-server contracts, policy sync, and cross-platform diagnostics
• Deliver Feature Enhancements and customer fixes as part of the Privilege Manager product team
• Contribute to Architecture & Design decisions, driving key technical and product initiatives
• Maintain High Quality Standards through code reviews, security practices, and continuous process improvements
• Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues to ensure reliability and availability, working directly with support teams and customers
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Product, UX, and Development teams using Scrum to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize Performance for scalability, efficiency, and user experience
• Improve Development Processes including code quality, E2E testing, security scanning, monitoring, and incident response

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with focus on macOS internals
• Strong proficiency in Swift for macOS development, including practical experience with Swift Concurrency
• Working knowledge of Objective-C (reading, understanding, and migrating legacy code)
• Deep expertise in macOS frameworks:
  • System Extensions, Endpoint Security, Service Management
  • Daemons/agents, XPC, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD)
  • SwiftUI, AppKit, and Accessibility
• Security-first mindset with solid understanding of Apple's security and privacy model
• Proficiency with Xcode and Apple's development toolchain
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architecture principles (Dependency Injection, MVVM)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment and multi-configuration builds
• Excellent collaboration skills with Product and UX/UI teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and cybersecurity principles
• Experience developing security-focused software
• Direct customer interaction and support experience
• Experience with agent products deployed across many customer machines
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance development
• Familiarity with macOS app distribution (signing and notarization)
