Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a seasoned manufacturing excellence leader to drive Wave 12 deployment across designated sites in support of our global operating system. You will champion lean deployment, coaching, and disciplined handover while partnering with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to stabilize new and expanding manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing, Lean, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or plant transformation experience; multi-site experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience deploying Lean or manufacturing operating systems in unstable, turnaround, launch, or rapid-growth environments.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Leader, or equivalent operational excellence certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Wave 12 Deployment & site intervention following global deployment methodology.
• Rapidly assess site conditions and translate findings into a 12-week deployment and stabilization plan with milestones and ownership.
• Serve as an embedded Global Manufacturing resource during intervention, coaching, and governance until handover.
• Escalate barriers and risks to Global Manufacturing leadership with clear recovery actions and timing.
• Deploy Tier Accountability & daily management cadence using global standards and visual boards.
• Coach leaders to run Tier meetings focusing on abnormality management, ownership, and action closure.
• Support site launch and expansion readiness with basic operating system implementation.
• Build local capability through hands-on coaching and training to sustain Wave 12 standards.
