Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico seeks a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead process development and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing lines, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver quality, cost, and capability gains from concept through production.

You will apply Six Sigma, DMAIC, Lean, and KAIZEN to design, qualify, and scale automated processes, while mentoring engineers, managing external partners, and traveling up to 20% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering as listed.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing process engineering.
• Active Green Belt Certification; Black Belt or Lean Belt is a plus.
• Strong command of statistical tools (DOE, GR&R, process capability, regression, hypothesis testing).
• Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen experience; project management experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (80%+) for technical communication.
• Ability to lead project teams and work across functions.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment across the full lifecycle.
• Apply Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Lean methodologies with statistical tools to ensure robust performance.
• Manage project workstreams and external partners to deliver integrated process systems on time and budget.
• Support root cause analysis, process qualification plans, and safety/ergonomics initiatives.
