Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years translating functional product requirements into application-layer code and UI designs for traditional web apps.
• Experience with large-scale software development or application engineering, including recent hands-on coding.
• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Aspects, etc.), JPA, JSF, JUnit, Web Services (SOAP & REST), JSON/XML, JBoss, Log4j, Eclipse STS, SQL, and Oracle Database Server.
• Experience with API development (REST & SOAP), design patterns, and distributed transactions.
• Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices, including IaC, CI, and automated deployments.
• Strong understanding of the Testing Pyramid and TDD using JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with cloud technologies policies and governance.
• Experience with performance optimization, architecture and code reviews.
