Softgic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (API) to design, develop, and support client-facing applications and services. You will own REST APIs, Java/Spring Boot microservices, and modern CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced enterprise setting.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of experience with enterprise apps, strong API design, and hands-on implementation of AI-powered or generative AI-enabled workflows. The role requires collaboration across global teams.

Formación

• 8–12 years of professional software development experience in enterprise apps.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.
• Proven expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Solid background in Microservices Architecture.
• Familiarity with API management concepts and APIM platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD and collaborating with DevOps teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Advanced English (B2+/C1) for collaboration with international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable software features and services.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs.
• Develop enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with modern microservices-based architectures.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
• Translate customer and business requirements into technical designs.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on software design and architecture.
• Balance new feature development, defect resolution, and technical debt.
• Work with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply API management concepts and work with APIM tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including story refinement.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development.
