Job summary

Corus Consulting an Alten Company is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a cloud modernization project within the banking and financial services sector. You will work on complex Java applications using Spring Boot and AWS.

You should have 8+ years of software development, 5+ years Java, strong experience with Java 11+, REST APIs, microservices, and end-to-end migrations from on-premises to AWS. Hands-on tooling includes Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL databases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development.
• Strong experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Proven experience in at least 2 end-to-end On-Premises to AWS migrations.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline).
• Strong SQL, relational databases, and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with production troubleshooting, cloud security, and application modernization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices.
• Migrate on-premises workloads to AWS in end-to-end projects.
• Build and manage IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and uphold cloud security practices.
