EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Automation Tester in Java to join our team in Mexico. You will help protect the quality, reliability, and performance of applications across the development lifecycle, collaborating with development, DevOps, and product teams to advance automation initiatives.

The role requires hands-on REST/SOAP API testing, Cucumber, Java, and UI automation with Selenium. You will work within an Agile environment and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust automated

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of applied professional experience in Quality Assurance with test automation experience.
• Hands-on REST and SOAP API testing, preferably with SOAPUI and Groovy scripting.
• Experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven testing.
• Strong Java programming for automation frameworks and scripts.
• Selenium or similar UI automation tools.
• Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• English at B2 level or higher with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Draft functional, integration, and acceptance test cases.
• Develop automated test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing.
• Plan and execute automation activities and maintain testing standards.
• Embed test cycles into the DevOps pipeline for continuous quality assurance.
• Automate testing for back-end REST APIs and front-end components.
• Record and report defects clearly for effective tracking.
• Handle test data and environments for reliable execution.
• Manage test scripts version control across releases.
