Atos seeks a highly seasoned IBM i Systems Engineer to own the architecture, security, performance, and high availability of our enterprise Power Systems environment in Monterrey. You will drive complex migrations and strategic planning, ensuring 99.999% uptime for critical business applications.
The role requires an independent problem-solver with a minimum of 12 years’ experience delivering solutions tied to business growth, organizational development and systems optimization.
Formación
- Minimum 12 years of experience in IBM i systems engineering.
- Proven architecture, security, performance and high availability expertise.
- Experience leading migrations and complex enterprise projects.
Responsabilidades
- Design, implement, and maintain LPAR configurations and PowerVM architectures.
- Lead HA/DR planning to meet stringent RPO/RTO goals.
- Administer advanced IBM i security configurations and compliance controls.
- Oversee OS/400 upgrades, PTF management, and firmware updates.
- Lead modernization projects including cloud integration and SQL modernization.
- Provide project leadership and escalation support as needed.
