Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Principal Application Engineer to support the sale of Chiller products through HVAC System Branches and sales personnel in export markets. The role focuses on pre-sale technical support, product inquiries, special quotations, and order execution coordination with engineering teams.

Strong knowledge of JCI and competitor products, as well as market conditions, is required. Travel to customer sites and training events is up to 20%.

Formación

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 7 years of experience in HVAC or Chiller technology.
• Solid understanding of refrigeration systems, panel design and circuit design.
• Travel up to 20% for factory/site visits and training.

Responsabilidades

• Guide field sales by providing application and installation guidance for Chiller Solutions equipment in HVAC systems.
• Develop tools and documentation to support field sales and automate common inquiries.
• Proficient in in-house engineering systems and documentation to answer product detail inquiries.
• Collaborate with sales, design engineers and product management to meet customer requirements.
• Obtain supplier quotations to communicate cost and lead time for special product requests.
• Participate in product team meetings to plan business development opportunities.
• Create and deliver portions of sales training, on-site or field-based.
• Support and guide other Application Engineers, Product Marketing staff, Sales Engineers and Sales Agents.
