Siemens Energy is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead engineering activities for turnkey EPC high voltage substations, including detailed design for HV substations and transmission projects.

The role covers seismic design calculations, review of external packages, and coordination with the design team to ensure constructability and schedule adherence. Excellent knowledge of standards and software is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of Civil/Structural Engineering for HV, distribution and generation projects.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• Extensive knowledge of IBC/ASCE/ACI/AISC/ANSI standards.
• Proficiency with structural software packages (StaadPro, SAP2000, RISA, SAG-10).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare calculations for grading, buildings, foundations, steel structures, overhead conductors, and rigid bus.
• Develop conceptual designs for pricing and perform civil/structural designs and calculations.
• Review and approve external engineering packs and manufacturer's documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and constructability.
• Meet project schedules and communicate risks or delays to the Project Manager.
