Formación

  • 3-5 years of HR administration experience in a multinational environment.
  • Proficient in resourcing tools and methods, with knowledge of labor law.

Job Description

The SR HR Partner acts as a strategic and operational partner for stakeholders at all levels, including cross-site HR matters.

  • Acts as a guide for leadership, exchanging views freely and providing corrective feedback when necessary.
  • Facilitates the HRL Strategy within his/her area by implementing appropriate HR measures.
  • Ensures the implementation of HR standards, policies, and processes in his/her area.
  • Advises leadership and associates on HR topics such as benefits, compensation, recruitment, development programs, general services, discipline administration, and legal compliance.
  • Coordinates core HR processes and monitors KPI metrics to ensure the achievement of HRL Strategy, developing HR Partners under his/her responsibility.
  • Responsible for managing audits, including client and governmental audits.
  • Establishes and maintains contact with local educational institutions and develops personnel marketing initiatives focused on technician-level candidates.
  • Develops a pool of qualified candidates for non-operator positions in advance of planning requirements, ensuring the list is always updated.
  • Administers the internal posting process for hourly positions according to corporate and local policies.
  • Manages government programs or legal agreements with educational institutions (e.g., BECATE, CONALEP DUAL PROGRAM).
  • Leads initiatives, in conjunction with the HRBP Manager, to reduce, improve, and control turnover and absenteeism rates.
  • Handles legal issues for direct associates, including resignations, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Leads personnel administration and service in cooperation with supervisors for direct associates.
  • Manages the performance evaluation process for direct associates, including establishing rules for the process.
  • Coordinates with HR Services providers to ensure smooth processes.
  • Ensures that direct associate files are complete and up-to-date.
  • Coordinates, reviews, and approves SAP weekly maintenance activities related to direct associates, payroll, and PA processes.
  • Supports the HRL manager in administering job descriptions for direct associates, ensuring all required descriptions exist and meet business standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR administration within a multinational or industrial environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of resourcing tools and methods.
  • Knowledge of Mexican Labor Law and government regulations.
  • Customer service orientation skills.
  • Understanding of the labor market and manufacturing industry, especially maquiladora operations.
  • Proficiency in Office, Visio, and Project; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Experience with problem-solving tools and processes.
  • Result-oriented with strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Excellent communication skills and empathy.
