Accenture México is seeking a Senior HashiCorp Boundary / Platform Engineer to lead design, implementation, and operations of the Boundary platform in a complex hybrid and multi-cloud environment. The role focuses on secure privileged access, identity integration, and engineering standards.

Responsibilities include deploying Boundary components, building cross-cloud connectivity, and driving security/compliance outcomes with IaC and CI/CD improvements.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating HashiCorp Boundary.
• Proficient in IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt and enterprise-scale deployments.
• Experience with identity integration (Entra ID/OIDC) and cloud networking (Azure/AWS).

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and implementation of the Boundary platform, including controllers, workers, and session brokering.
• Design network connectivity across Boundary workers and target systems (AWS/Azure).
• Own identity integration (Entra ID, AD, ExpressRoute) and access governance.
• Build and maintain Boundary IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt following modular patterns.
• Improve CI/CD and operational practices for the Boundary platform.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior HashiCorp Boundary / Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of the HashiCorp Boundary platform in a complex hybrid and multi-cloud environment.

This role will focus on secure privileged access, identity integration, network architecture, Infrastructure as Code, security and compliance, and establishing engineering standards for the Boundary platform.

Mandatory Skill

HashiCorp Boundary — MUST HAVE

Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating HashiCorp Boundary, including controllers, workers, session brokering, access policies, identity integration, and enterprise-scale deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the HashiCorp Boundary platform, including:
  • Controller and worker deployments
  • SSH, RDP, and database session brokering
  • Access to domain-joined Azure VMs
  • Session recording, including remediation of the RDP recording gap
• Design and build the network connectivity between Boundary workers and target systems across the enterprise network, including:
  • AWS Cloud WAN
  • AWS Network Firewall
  • AWS Transit Gateway
  • Cross-cloud routing to Azure
• Own identity integration, including:
  • Microsoft Entra ID / OIDC
  • On-premises Active Directory over ExpressRoute
  • Domain join and DNS resolution
  • Group-to-principal mapping between AD/Entra groups and Boundary roles
• Build and maintain the operational access model, including:
  • Boundary scopes
  • Roles and grants
  • User and permission onboarding processes
  • Documentation to support future organizational adoption
• Own all Boundary Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Terragrunt, following established module patterns such as:
  • azurerm
  • azapi
  • azuread
• Work with known Azure tenant-specific provider requirements and workarounds for role assignments.
• Drive Security & Compliance outcomes, including:
  • Session audit coverage
  • RDP recording gap remediation
  • Secrets management
  • SAST/SCA across platform pipelines
• Improve CI/CD and operational practices for the Boundary platform, including:
  • Image pipelines
  • Deployment automation
  • Runbooks
  • Tiered SLAs
• Champion AI-assisted engineering workflows, establishing patterns, guardrails, and best practices for the team.
• Set engineering standards across the Boundary track, mentor senior developers, and perform design and code reviews.
