Accenture is seeking a Senior HashiCorp Boundary / Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of a secure enterprise access platform in a complex AWS/Azure hybrid-cloud environment. The candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Boundary, cloud networking, identity integration, and IaC, and will mentor senior engineers.

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León / Mexico City. Hybrid work model and exposure to international projects.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience with HashiCorp Boundary deployments and enterprise-scale usage.
• Proficiency with IaC using Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Experience integrating identity with Entra ID and AD/ExpressRoute.
• Knowledge of secure networking across AWS and Azure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and implementation of HashiCorp Boundary within a hybrid AWS/Azure environment.
• Own enterprise network connectivity between Boundary workers and targets (AWS/Azure).
• Manage identity integration and access control, including Entra ID and AD mappings.
• Drive security, compliance, and DevSecOps practices across the Boundary platform.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior HashiCorp Boundary / Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of a secure enterprise access platform in a complex AWS/Azure hybrid-cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in HashiCorp Boundary, cloud networking, identity integration, Infrastructure as Code, and security. This role will also provide technical leadership, establish engineering standards, and mentor senior engineers.

Mandatory Skill

HashiCorp Boundary — MUST HAVE

Strong hands-on experience with HashiCorp Boundary, including enterprise deployments, controller and worker architecture, session brokering, access policies, identity integration, and secure connectivity to target environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of HashiCorp Boundary, including:
  • Controller and worker deployments
  • SSH, RDP, and database session brokering
  • Secure access to domain-joined Azure VMs
  • Session recording and remediation of the RDP recording gap
• Design and implement enterprise network connectivity between Boundary workers and target environments, including:
  • AWS Cloud WAN
  • AWS Network Firewall
  • AWS Transit Gateway
  • Cross-cloud routing between AWS and Azure
• Own identity integration and access management, including:
  • Microsoft Entra ID / OIDC
  • On-premises Active Directory over ExpressRoute
  • Domain join and DNS resolution
  • Group-to-principal mapping between AD/Entra groups and Boundary roles
• Design and implement the operational access model, including:
  • Boundary scopes, roles, and grants
  • User and permission onboarding processes
  • Repeatable access-management procedures
  • Documentation to support future organizational adoption
• Own Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for the Boundary platform using Terraform/Terragrunt, following established module patterns such as:
  • azurerm
  • azapi
  • azuread
  • Azure tenant-specific provider workarounds when required
• Drive Security & Compliance outcomes, including:
  • Session audit coverage
  • RDP recording gap remediation
  • Secrets management
  • SAST/SCA implementation across platform pipelines
• Improve CI/CD and operational practices for the Boundary platform, including:
  • Image pipelines
  • Deployment automation
  • Runbooks
  • Tiered SLAs
  • Operational readiness
• Champion AI-assisted engineering workflows, establishing patterns, guardrails, and best practices for the engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership by:
  • Establishing engineering standards across the Boundary track
  • Mentoring senior developers
  • Performing design and code reviews
  • Providing architectural guidance and technical direction
