Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Hot Gas Path Product Service Engineer to provide technical support for fielded Gas Turbine HGP systems. You will troubleshoot, conduct RCA, and engage with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.

Candidate must have a mechanical/related engineering background and substantial field experience, with willingness to travel globally and occasionally work off-hours. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science Engineering, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in Design, Repair, Testing, Manufacturing, Operation, or Maintenance of Gas Turbine HGP systems.
• Willingness to travel globally (<5% typical).
• Ability to support off-hours occasionally for issue resolution.
• 10+ years in Design, Repair, Manufacturing, or Maintenance of Gas Turbine HGP systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineering support of installed base of Gas Turbine HGP systems.
• Provide issue resolution for HGP systems with cross-functional teams.
• Support Field Services during planned outages.
• Prepare technical presentations for Customers and Senior Leadership.
• Develop technical communications for GT customers about issues and resolutions.
• Apply RCA methods to field failures on HGP systems.
• Maintain relationships with internal interfaces to capture customer needs.
• Interface with suppliers for cost-effective solutions.
• Travel to customer locations to support outages and technical reviews.
• Collaborate with design and development to introduce new products.
• Participate in Lean actions and Kaizen projects to improve processes.
