Job summary

InfoVision Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable fullstack solutions across backend and frontend systems.

You will architect APIs with Java/GraphQL, build real-time data pipelines using Kafka, and ensure observability with DataDog and Grafana. Collaborate with product teams, own incidents, and drive engineering improvements for high-traffic advertising platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–8+ years of professional software development experience with fullstack expertise.
• Designing and building scalable distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with real-time data processing (Kafka) and search/datastore (Elasticsearch or Aerospike).
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and CI/CD practices.
• Strong system design and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to take ownership, drive projects independently, and make sound technical decisions.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable fullstack solutions across backend and frontend systems.
• Architect and build robust APIs using Java/GraphQL to support high-performance applications.
• Design and optimize real-time data pipelines with Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Aerospike.
• Own system design decisions for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Establish observability using DataDog and Grafana, proactively resolving issues.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions for e-commerce and advertising domains.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams.
• Lead incident response, on-call rotations, and production support during peak periods.
• Continuously improve engineering standards, tooling, and development processes.
